The introduction and development of new hardware solutions for energy production usually requires a long period of time. This is especially the case for small companies growing out of own sources. With the introduction of our new products, we want to obtain the worldwide technology leadership in magnetocaloric energy transformation technologies.

With our TMM we already established worldwide technology leadership in the conversion of low temperature heat into electricity.

Oktober 2018 - New project for material development

After a first successful project in collaboration with the Delft University of Technology on the subject of material development, the start of a follow-up project can now be announced. As in teh first project, the TU-Delft is allowed to receive financial support form the Dutch State (Netherlands Organisiation for Scientific Research NWO).
Oktober 2019 - Successful field tests

Significant progress in fatigue strength has enabled the TMM K1 to reach over 90 % availability in the past 12 months. Overall, the duration in industrial environment is over 12'000 operating hours.
März 2021 - New BFE P&D-Project started

Thanks to financial support from the Swiss Federal Office of Energy, the new development stage of the thermomagnetic motor can be implemented as a functional model. The work is supported by the Institute of Thermal and Fluid Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland in Windisch.
Eurotherm seminar on Caloric Heating and Cooling July 2021

Together with around 40 other speakers, Swiss Blue Energy AG was able to present its solution for magnetocaloric conversion of heat to electricity at the three-day Eurotherm seminar on Caloric Heating and Cooling.

December 2021 - Successful commissioning of the TMM K2 technology demonstrator

After a development period of 1.5 years, the TMM K2 was able to provide the desired proof of technology. With the financial support of the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE), the world's most powerful thermomagnetic motor for the conversion of low-temperature waste heat into electricity was successfuly built .
